Get your bassoon serviced!

Yikes! This was the sealant between the boot joint and cap on a mid-70's Fox bassoon. It had completely broken down and was causing some pretty bad leakage. I suspect it was the original sealant installed at the factory 40 years ago. I'm sure there's some sort of PSA that could be done with this and a sad Sarah McLachlan song.
